Hakan Fidan İzmir’de Esnafı Ziyaret Etti

Dışişleri Bakanı Hakan Fidan, İzmir’deki ziyaretinde önce Tarihi Tunca Caddesi Sevgi Yolu’nda esnaf ziyareti gerçekleştirdi ve vatandaşların taleplerini dinledi. Daha sonra İzmir Ticaret Odası’nda iş dünyası buluşmasına katılan Fidan’a İzmir Valisi Süleyman Elban, Konak Belediye Başkan Adayı Ceyda Bölünmez Çankırı ve AK Parti İzmir İl Başkanı Bilal Saygılı eşlik etti. Bakan Fidan, 31 Mart yerel seçimlerinin İzmir ve ülke için hayırlı olmasını dileyerek, ülkenin ekonomik büyümesini ve ihracatı desteklediklerini belirtti. Türkiye’nin ekonomide ilerlemeye devam ettiğini vurgulayan Fidan, ülkenin küresel ortaklıklarla kalkınma hedeflerine ulaşabileceğini söyledi.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized the importance of peace, security and stability in the surrounding areas regardless of the conditions. He mentioned the efforts towards achieving fair and lasting peace in conflicts like the one in Ukraine and Gaza. He also highlighted Turkey’s success in combatting terrorist organizations to an unparalleled level through strong political leadership, strategic national capabilities, and engaging in cooperative projects with neighboring countries. Fidan stressed the necessity of maintaining peace and stability for the security of the country and the region.

Bakan Fidan expressed the need for Turkey’s allies and partners, such as the US and the EU, to contribute constructively to the efforts for peace and regional development. Despite facing biased views and prejudice, Turkey is committed to increasing economic relations with its partners. Fidan also mentioned the strategic importance of updating the Customs Union with the EU and working towards visa liberalization. Turkey aims to become a leading global city that offers a bright future for its youth by focusing on innovation, technology, and economic growth.

During the program, Ege Bölgesi Sanayi Odası Başkanı Ender Yorgancılar emphasized the significance of foreign investors in preventing trade disputes and called for easier visa regulations for business purposes. İzmir Ticaret Odası Başkanı Mahmut Özgener highlighted the need for Turkey’s international strategy and the role of effective diplomacy in maintaining national interests. He stressed the importance of İzmir’s active participation on the international stage and the need for visa facilitation to enhance foreign trade opportunities.

At the end of the event, Bakan Fidan was presented with a historic photograph of Konak Square as a gift. This gesture symbolized the historical importance of İzmir and the significance of collaboration between the city and the government. Fidan reiterated Turkey’s commitment to working alongside İzmir and other regions to achieve economic and social development goals.
